ITEM E1 Illinois military in a sterling silver Illinois Watch Case Co. case. Case rates at least 90%. It does have a dedication on the back but no other flaws. Really nice. Dial is original with luminous on the markers still in tack. Rates 85% with slight toning. Movement is a Illinois 3/0 15 jewel model with serial number 3415778. This is a very nice watch. ITEM E2 Illinois Special in a 10K green gold filled Fahys Montauk case. Case rates 90% with no flaws. Dial is original painted with large black numbers. Movement is a 17 jewel Illinois with serial number 2282632. PRICE: $375.00
ITEM E3 Illinois Special in a yellow gold filled Fahys Montauk case that rates at 90%. This is a nice one with only light wear on the back that is almost impossible to see. Dial on this watch is original porcelain with large black numbers and red outer numbers track. I rate it at 85% only because of some light hair lining between the 7 and 8 position. Movement is a 15 jewel Illinois with serial number 2176052. PRICE: $495.00
ITEM E4 Illinois Canby in a Illinois Watch Case Co. white gold filled Tivoli case. Bezel front is plain but it has etching on the sides of case. Case rates at 95% with no flaws. Dial is original and rates about 75 to 80%. There is some staining around the center shaft but its not bad enough to refinish. Movement is a 15 jewel 6/0 Illinois with serial number 4899324. ITEM E7 Hamilton Everest ca. 1958 in good running order. This watch has just been serviced by Rene Rondeau & is in perfect running order (July 1, 2001). It has the Hamilton 500 movement. Dial is original in about 75% condition but to good to refinish. Case is very good condition, no wear showing. Nice one. Price: $595.00
ITEM E8 Bulova "Conqueror" ca. 1927 as seen on page 42 of Vintage American & European Wrist Watches by Ehrhardt & Demesy. Completely original with a period link band. This is a real looker. Case is 14KWGF engraved with no sign of wear. Dial is original & 95%. Movement is a Bulova 10AN with 15 jewels & 4 adjustments. PRICE: $275.00
ITEM E9 Benrus ca. 1935 with gold filled step side case. Case on this watch is in 95% condition. Crystal is original & is beveled. It is high in the center from 3 to 9 then breaks downward toward the 12 & 6 positions. Dial is in 90% condition with just a small scratch around the 12. Movement is a Benrus BR1 with 15 jewels. PRICE: $475.00 ITEM E10 Gruen "Prince" duo dial doctors watch. This is the same movement and dial (except being signed Gruen) that were produced by the Aegler Co. for Rolex and Gruen at the same time. The Rolex's were sold in the British Empire and the Gruen's were sold in the United States. The dial & hands are original and about 85 to 90% condition. The case is 14K white gold filled with #2047812, it is also in 85 to 90% condition. It measures 41mm x 22mm. The movement is a 15 jewel 4 adjustment model #1798237 that dates to about ca. 1930. This watch even still has the original winding crown with the little spikes to help wind the watch. This is a great watch. PRICE: ON HOLD 3/14/2002
