Colorado Cattle Brand Records 1885-1967 This is a list of brand registers for early Colorado.  If you find a name of interest, I suggest that you obtain Centennial Brand Book, by Richard Goff, Robert H McCaffree and Doris Sterbenz, call number 636.2081.  This book has drawings of the various brands and earmarks, along with biographies of some of the parties. The book includes the 1884 Brand List along with brands of members of the Colorado Cattlemen's Association through 1967.  Space did not allow me to insert graphic files of the brand images themselves. Please note that the counties listed below are approximated.  Cattle ranges were usually listed as "north of the Platte River" or "between Big Sandy and Horse Creeks" which sometimes covered huge areas  of land.  Therefore you will see some names listed in several counties.  Oftentimes the ranch addresses were listed as Denver, Colorado. I suggest you check surrounding counties and also Denver for your names.
