1975 Yamaha MX400BThis is a picture of the first bike I restored, It is a 1975 MX400B. I hauled this bike home from Oregon and it was a complete "Basket Case", It needed almost everything replaced on it. I have since completely restored the bike to better than new condition, The motor has been rebuilt with ported cylinder, Webco Head, and Boysen Reeds. I got the tank from a friend who had purchased one of these bikes new in 1975. He immediately removed the tank before the bike was even fired and replaced it with an aftermarket one. This bike is a blast to ride and flat flies!!
1974 Yamaha SC500MX
The bike pictured here is a 1974 SC500 MX that a friend and I picked up in Idaho. It is a VERY low hour machine, and is completely original with the exception of the handlebars and grips. This bike is the largest displacement 2 stroke that Yamaha has produced for the general public. The bike runs excellent and is a real eyecatcher at the races.
1976 Kawasaki KX125A2
This is a 1976 Kawaski KX125A2 (Rotary Valve Engine) that I purchased from a friend here locally.
1974 Suzuki TM400 Cyclone
Pictured here is a 1974 Suzuki TM400 Cyclone that I purchased locally up from a automobile salvage yard.
1976 Honda CR250 Elsinore
This bike here is a 1976 Honda CR250M2 Elsinore that I purchased here locally.
1975 Yamaha MX250B
This bike here is a 1975 MX250B that I picked up from a friend in Boise Idaho.
1972 Yamaha RT2 MX360
Here Is A Picture Of A Bike I Have Had For Quite Some Time. It Is A 1972 RT360MX, And Was The First Bike (Motocross) I Started With In My Collection. The Guy I got It From Had The Frame Nickel Plated, Polished All The Aluminum Parts (Triple Clamps, Engine Cases, Etc). I Rebuilt The Engine Completely And Had To Replace The Right Center Case, I Also Replaced The Cylinder/Head Which I Got From A Good Friend (Ray Kelley). The Cylinder/Head/Piston Have Been Extensively Modified And Produces Over 40HP You Can Hear And Feel The Difference In The Engine It's Incredible! These Bikes Were Notorious For "Kick Back" When Starting And Have Been Known To Break Ankles Along With Center Cases. The Key To Starting Them Is To Make Sure You Are At TDC, Follow Through Completely Each Time You Lay Into It, And Lastly Always Check Timing Before Starting.
1974 Yamaha MX360A
The bike pictured here is a very nice and Original "Low Hour" 1974 MX360A.
1975 Honda CR125M Elsinore
Here is a picture of a 1975 Honda CR125M1 that I picked up a few years ago while traveling through Boise Idaho. The bike was in a local repair shop that I decided to stop by and "have a quick look". It was so clean that I had to have it and $200. sealed the deal. The frame had already been powder coated red along with the fuel tank and came with a FMF pipe. I later aquired/added a DG head, and X CrossUp aluminum swingarm. I rebuilt the motor/lightly ported the cylinder, unbelievably the cylinder was still on STD. bore and didn't need bored. Notice that it still has the Original front # plate on it also. The bike is a blast to ride!
1978 Kawasaki KX250A4
This Is A Picture Of A Bike I Picked Up A Few Months Ago From A Friend In California (Thanks Mark!) It Is A 1978 Kawasaki KX250 A4. The Bike Is In Unbelievable Condition And Runs Better Than It Looks. The Picture Does Not Do This Bike Justice! These Bikes Were VERY Limited Production Machines And They Were Rumored To Have Only Produced 600 Of Them. The Frames On These Bikes Are Actual "Works" Pieces Taken Directly From The Pros Who Raced Them. This Bike Is The Only Year Kawasaki Utilized A "Alloy" Fuel Tank On Their Production Machines. Jimmy Weinert Rode One Of These Bikes And His Practice Bike Was Exactly Like This One. All The Magazine Writeups I Have Read Regarding These Bikes "Praised" This Machine. I Am A YZ Fanatic, But Had To Have This Example In My Collection Due To The Rarity Of It. I Have Also Aquired A 78 KX125 A4 From A Good Friend That Will Be Fully Restored Sometime In The Future To Go Along With This Bike. 1978 Kawasaki KX125A4
The bike pictured here is a 1978 Kawsaki KX125A4 that I have fully restored to better than new condition. 1979 Kawasaki KX250A5
Here is a 1979 Kawasaki KX250A5 that I purchased off of Ebay last year. The guy that owned it lived only 15 mins away from my house. I was able to talk him into removing it from Ebay before his "Reserve" was met and to sell it to me. The bike is in Unbelievable condition and is 100% complete and Original and even has it's original stand. This bike has never had any of it's nuts or bolts removed or replaced and the plating is still in perfect condition. I could not believe the conditon of this bike when I first seen it and the sellers asking price sealed the deal! More Pics To Come!
