Sibirskiy Moroz Mur put Siberian Cats in the forefront in cat associations. He was the first Siberian Cat to be awarded International Cat of the Year in TICA in 2001..
"Irdie" was the first Siberian Cat imported from Siberia, Russia to the USA. He was imported by Judy Chappetta.
Siberian cats in the USA started with these first three Siberian cats, Ofelia, Kalisotro and Naina. They were imported from St. Petersburg, Russia by Eliazbeth Terrell in 1990.
TISCA has a worldwide membership
and is the first TICA Siberian Breed Club.

Many people have worked very hard establishing the Siberian breed here in the USA. Currently, the Siberian Cat is accepted in championship in all  Cat Associations.

We are an active club promoting the Siberian Cat within TICA.  We have sponsored a rings in the club name at various  shows, we have Best of Breed Siberian award ribbons for use at TICA shows requesting them. We have a Siberian Breed presentation available on CD and have presented the seminar at the TICA CEU in San antonio, TX and CEU in New Mexico. The presentation was sent to Austrailia and France for use in educational publications there.
We are working on a breed brochure. TISCA has an education breed display for shows and other educational displays.
We hope to sponsor the first TICA Siberian Breed Club  show  in 2007.
