~~~KHARSIH'S
CHAPEL~~~
Softly she bows her head and chants a simple prayer.
She traces a mark over her chest, the mark of
the clerics guild. She
lifts her head again, green eyes dancing about happily
as she
notices a new figure in the rose arbor. She
beckons to you, sensing
the light within you, the light that radiates from
every member of
the guild. The twilight dances through the
vinery draped along the
wicker archway, casting shadows on the marble altar
nestled deep
within the foliage. Atop it stand two brightly
burning ivory
candles, a symbol the gods shall always burn inside
every
Elanthian.
You sit beside her on the wicker bench, the smell of
roses permeating the air, and she turns to you with
a smile.
"Ye are new to us I
do see, but I am glad ye have
joined us. I happen to think that our guild
is the fairest around.
But then, I suppose ye would expect to hear
that from me." She
chuckles softly. "Sit with me a spell, the
gods have blessed this
arbor with eternal springs and I hope that ye can
find the peace
here that I do. I will tell ye of the cleric
life, of the goods, and of
the bad. I will teach ye of the gods, what
each upholds. I will tell
ye what I can of the holy power that we are blessed
with and the
things it can bestow us with. And I will tell
ye how to stay in their
light." She smiles softly at you, a gentle
breeze stirring her
blue-black tresses, a stark contrast to the long
white flowing
prayer robe she wears.
"If tis the way of the gods ye seek, I know tis nae
exciting to listen to the words of another, but I
think ye will find
some humorous tales here and there, so please listen
well. And
welcome, welcome to our lovely guild." She smiles
brightly and
leaning back in the lush green grass and trails off
in tales of the
holy teachings.
