About the Owner

Weave Haus is owned and operated by Patti Jo Casteel, long time New Harmony business person and weaver. Patti Jo managed the Harmonie Haus for many years and founded the Earth & Fiber Weaving Studio in the 1970's. Patti Jo has returned to New Harmony after spending the last few years in missionary work both overseas and in the United States.

Location

Weave House is located in historic New Harmony, Indiana,
on the banks of the Wabash River in Southwestern Indiana.

Weaving In New Harmony

New Harmony has a long history and tradition of weaving, especially under the Harmony Society. Weave Haus continues this tradition by giving lessons, stocking supplies, and selling woven items from area weavers.
