A Welsh Evening is an annual community event to acquaint people with Welsh and Celtic culture, held on the first Sunday of March. The following successful and fun-filled event was held March 7, 2004.
Everyone loved the Black Irish Band and the food was fantastic!

It’s time to mark your calendars for our fun-filled 6th Annual
"A Welsh Evening",
Sunday, March 7, 2004, in the Great Hall,
University of the Pacific Campus,
3601 Pacific Avenue,
Stockton, CA
If you have never attended "A Welsh Evening" event,
we cordially invite you to join us.
A person need not be of Celtic heritage to attend and enjoy
this wonderful event.
Doors open at 6:00 PM for people to browse the cultural tables.
A delicious buffet dinner will be served at 6:30 PM.
Entertainment will follow dinner.
Our friends from the Sacramento Cylch Cymreig
(Sacramento Welsh Circle), and our Celtic friends from the
Irish and Scottish Societies will join us again this year.
It will be great to see you all again (new faces, too)
for our 6th annual event!
Entertainment features the fantastic
Black Irish Band,
playing Celtic tunes: Welsh, Irish, Scottish,
and maybe even a Cornish tune or two!
