A Welsh Evening 2006 with the Campbell Creek Gang

6:00 PM – Doors open - Browse Welsh, Irish, and Scottish Societies cultural tables

6:30 PM – Buffet Dinner- Piano Celtic music selections during dinner

7:45 PM – Entertainment – Campbell Creek Gang performing Celtic and other music

Purpose: A lovely evening to enjoy and experience the Celtic cultures of Wales, Scotland and Ireland.

You’ll feel like kicking up your heels when you hear the lively music of the Campbell Creek Gang playing jigs and reels at our annual A Welsh Evening on Sunday, March 5, 2006 in the Great Hall at University of the Pacific in Stockton.

The Irish Society of Stanislaus County, St. Andrews Society, and the Welsh American Society of Central California (WASCC) will again join us with tables of Celtic information. Information will also be available regarding a Welsh Language Course at UOP in July and WASCC's tour to England, Wales and Ireland in August.

Doors will open at 6:00 PM for guests to view the Irish, Scottish and Welsh cultural societies tables. Dinner will be served at 6:30 PM. As usual, there will be a scrumptious, upscale buffet served by Bon Appetit Catering.

Menu: Wild Spring Mix Salad with Ranch Dressing and Raspberry Vinaigrette; Herb and Garlic New York Strip Loin with Port Wine Sauce; Toasted Pine Nut and Parmesan Crusted Chicken Breast; Vegetable Napoleons with Red Sauce; Whipped Herb Potatoes lightly enhanced with Gorgonzola Cheese; Fresh Cauliflower Au Gratin; Rolls and Butter; Welsh Strawberry Trifle for dessert; Lemonade; Tea and Coffee.

At 7:45 PM, the Campbell Creek Gang, a talented trio, will entertain you with lively Celtic tunes on their violins and guitar. A truly enjoyable, delicious, satisfying and educational evening of Celtic culture. Cost for dinner and entertainment is only $39.00. Reservations are required.
