A wiener in hot water
No, that is not a drowned rat shown here. That is our dachshund Gaudi! Gaudi was watching us in the hot tub so $#@$% picked him up and put him in the water. Although Gaudi likes to wade in cool streams and small ponds, he did not like the hot water of the tub.
Terror strikes a kitty as Wotan looms in sight
Whenever Wotan is in sight all cats are shaking in their boots (or they would be if they had any boots). Here you can see the mighty and fearless Wotan causing a kitty to cower before his might and majesty.
Look at that tongue!
Our Ms. Shakti shows off fine dachshund hole digging ability. If you really love digging like Shakti does you will put not just your paws but your mouth into the mud and let it fly!
The human pillow
Dachsies are weirdos! One thing you can always count on....dachshunds will do strange things. My husband took this photo while I was sleeping and it shows Shakti using my face as a pillow to sleep on.

Gaudi meets a horse
Little mini dappled doxie Gaudi meets a horse for the first time here on San Juan island. He is in awe of its sheer size.
The dachshund tries to GROOM the horse
As he's being held up to the horse my doxie Gaudi tried to groom the horse...licking its face and trying to lick its eyes. The horse didn't like it.
Wotan and %$%#$ meet a Washington State ferry
It looks like a close call too! This was taken at the marina here on San Juan at the town of Friday Harbor last month.
Dachshund protecting her plants
Dachsies are very protective of their house and area. Shakti even protects the little seedling plants as you can see.
At the Sunset.....here comes the kiss
Sunset at American Camp Park here on San Juan island. Wotan kisses me as we fade out.
I'm finding that I've become overwhelmed by the email I get from my dachshund web pages and am embarrassed at how long it takes me to reply as I rarely get on AOL to read email.
