Snowballs (Pattern updated to 2004 specs on 12/14/04)
materials: 1 80z skein 4ply glitter white yarn
Poly fill to stuff snowballs
Crochet Hook Sz. H (or sz to make gauge)
gauge: sc, ch1, sc ch1 = 1"
4 rows = 1"
Large: Ch 23
Row 1: sc in 3rd ch from hook, *ch1, sc in next ch, repeat from * until end of row, ch1, turn
Row 2: sc in 1st sc, *ch1, sc in next sc repeat from * to end, ch 1 turn
Row 3 - Row 28: repeat Row 2
Bring Row 1 and Row 28 together to form tube and sl st together. Leave a 4" length of yarn to thread needle. Use this to weave around this open end of tube, gather and pull tight, secure and end off.
Turn inside out and stuff with poly fill. Use another length of yarn and weave open end of tube, gather and secure, fasten off.
