Who are we?
WINGS Christian Fellowship is a spirit-filled cell-based church serving the Greater Dayton Area of Ohio.
As a cell-based church, we serve with two wings ~ Cells & Celebration. Both WINGS, Home Cell Groups (small groups) and our Sunday Celebration Service (large group), are important for healthy Christian growth and to help prepare and equip us to advance the Kingdom of God. Our Home Cell Groups are the foundation of the church and where ordinary people can become disciples and be equipped for Kindgom service. We are a community of believers who also desire to be mentors (spiritual parents) who invest ourselves in others. We will meet in homes, coffee shops, or wherever we can, to share our passion for Jesus.

The doors of our hearts and homes are open. We meet from house-to-house around the Miami Valley in small home groups. We also gather for celebration and worship on most Sunday mornings.

APOSTOLIC COVERING & AFFILIATION:
WINGS Christian Fellowship is an apostolic cell-based church that began as a church plant on April 1, 2004. We are a non-denominational church, but we're by no means "independent". From our inception, the Elders of DOVE Church Wilmington (DCW) have graciously served as our apostolic cover. By virtue of our connection and relationship with DCW, we are also in partnership with DOVE Christian Fellowship International (DCFI) and as such, we are connected with a worldwide network of cell-based churches that share the same vision and values. The word "apostolic" refers to the relationship we have with the leaders from DCW and DCFI, who care for the leadership of individual congregations in a similar way that the original apostles cared for congregations by praying for them, visiting them, writing letters, and helping to hold them accountable to sound Biblical values and their "call" to ministry, both corporately and personally. NOTE: WINGS Christian Fellowship is registered in the State of Ohio as a non-profit corporation to operate for religious purposes, as a church, within meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, which among other things allows us to recieve tax deductable contributions for ministry purposes.

Praise the Lord, “We get it ... that we’ve got it”! Thanks to David Redish, SE of The CROSSing and DFCI five-fold minister, who came to WINGS in September for a powerful weekend of ministry as we prayed for breakthrough and revival in the small community of Bellbrook, OH where we began meeting for Sunday Celebration in April. We were blessed earlier in the month with a powerful message of exhortation from Steve Fricke of DCW who gives us oversight. We also praise the Lord for “Called Together” and allowing us to be used as pre-marital mentors with a new couple, Mike & Mindy. Mike made a first time commitment to the Lord and they were married on September 22. We also celebrated the river baptisms of Mike & Mindy and another new member in September. Earlier this summer we started HANG TIME, a coffee house ministry for teens and young adults on Wednesday nights and we are beginning to see good fruit.
Specific Requests
We are praying that God will send more young people and curious parents to HANG TIME, Christian Coffee House, which is our Wednesday night youth outreach. Pray for Mike Sabin as he completes the healing process from the pelvic fractures he suffered in August and as he reenters the workplace (bi-vocational) in November. Pray for Heather as she recovers from the extra load of caring for Mike in addition to her duties as Erin’s primary caregiver and her job as administrative assistant for Mike’s brother’s business. Pray that we will not grow weary in well doing while balancing work, family and giving leadership to the church. Pray for healings to manifest for several of our members who face debilitating illnesses.
Pray for co-laborers and new cell group leaders to help fulfill our call and vision to reach the lost … from life-to-life and house-to-house.
