from Tideway School, Sussex, UK.

Menu

An innovative set of titles produced at Tideway School, by their professional, highly enthusiastic History and IT departments.

Excellent examples of what can be produced using Neobook Professional (H398 - £3.00); they provide useful study material for history pupils. All use the easy point and click Neobook interface to great effect, and are carefully constructed using scanned photographs of source material, pictures, text, extra notes on sources, etc. Questions (and things to search for) promote further discussion and interest amongst students.

If you're a teacher (any subject) looking for ideas on how to involve computers in your teaching, these disks could be just the inspiration you need. Alternatively, you may not be a teacher or a student, but just want to explore a church or castle without leaving your desk! They certainly provide an eye opening experience on how History teaching has changed (for the better!). All run under Windows or DOS; and need a minimum set-up of 286, mouse, and VGA graphics.
