5 Feb 2001. Crossing the Drake Passage from Argentina to the Antarctic peninsula can be a bit rough.

7 Feb 2001. We encounter ice but it is not a problem for our Russian Ice breaker, the Kapitan Dranitsyn. We even stopped along the way to take a little stroll.
