Some of the Bigham Families of Lancaster County PA
The DAVID BIGHAM family of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania appears in records as early as the November Court 1748 where David's name appears on a list of names concerning a road from Wentz's Mill to King's Mill. The May 1753 Court also records David's name concerning a road from Burkholder's Ferry to Drumore Center. His will, dated 18 Aug 1759, names his wife and children. The WILLIAM BIGHAM family is reported in the Ludlow-Ross genealogy as being in Lancaster County. William is reported to have been born in Williamsburg, VA in 1752. A number of his descendants moved to Ohio.
