# 7 ss crochet hook
72 beads
ss hook small enough to fit through hole in beads
pair of girls socks w/cuff
UPPER RUFFLE
With wrong side of sock facing, Thread 18 beads onto thread.
RND 1: Join with sl st at center back, sc in same sp. 42 sc spaced evenly around, join w/ sl st to first sc. 43 sc.
RND 2: ch 3, working in front loops only- 2 dc in same st, * 3 dc in next st, repeat from * around, join w/sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch-3.
RND 3: ch 1, sc in same st, * ch 3, sk next 2 dc, sc in next dc, repeat from * around to last 2 dc, ch 1 join with dc in beg sc.
RND 4: ch 1, sc in same sp, * ch 3, sc in next ch3 sp, repeat from * around to last ch 3 sp, sc in last ch 3 sp, ch 1, join w/dc in beg sc.
RND 5: ch 1, sc in same sp, * ch 3, sc in next ch 3 sp, ch 4, slide a bead up (remove hook from work, insert smaller hook through hole in bead and pull ch 4 through bead, put hook back into work), sc in next ch 3 sp. repeat from * around 17 more times, ch 3, join with sl st in beg sc. end off, weave in ends.
LOWER RUFFLE
thread 18 beads onto thread.
RND 1: working in back loops of RND 1 of upper ruffle- join thread with sl st at center back, ch 3, 2 dc in same sp, * 3 dc in next st, 2 dc in next st, repeat from * around, join w/ sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch-3.
RND 2: dc in each st around, join w/sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch-3.
RND’s 3, 4 & 5: Repeat RND 4 of upper ruffle
RND 6: Repeat RND 5 of upper ruffle.
