KINGS MOUNTAIN ART WORKS

Wing Commander Ian Hall MBE (Royal Air Force & Sultan of Oman's Air Force Rtd.)

Welcome to Kings Mountain Art Works (KMAW), your source for over 1600 prints of military and civil aircraft, US Navy and Royal Navy warships , US Coast Guard vessels and merchant ships , automobiles, motorcycles, trains and (so far 1) military vehicles. My prints are faithful reproductions of my original pencil & digital artwork. The prints are unframed, but will fit stock 20 x 10 or larger frames after trimming and mounting with a custom matt. Over 17,000 customers have purchased and enjoyed my prints since I adopted art as an alternative to unemployment in 2001. My originals and special editions are displayed in the Hiller Aviation Museum in San Carlos CA , the Royal Air Force Club in London , aboard several US Navy ships and in the homes of sailors and airmen worlwide.

2. Add medals and/or ribbons, I have images of most ribbons and medals - all I need from you is a list of the awards. Price 1 - 4 for $6.00. 4 - 8 for $12.00. 12 + for $18.00

If your print has customizing above and beyond the basic personal data and rating badge I will e-mail you a preview of the print so that you can change or move the various customizing objects before I finalize it.

Sample Print

Here is an example of a typical customized print. Your layout may be different to fit the space available.

COMPOSITE PRINTS

I can produce composite prints showing several ships and their badges as an 18 x 12 in. image on one 19 x 13 in. sheet. If the ships are already in my catalog the price will be roughly equivalent to the same number of single prints, but you will save greatly on framing costs and wall space. If the composite requires a new ship the price will be somewhat higher depending on the amount of extra work involved. Customizing options shown above also apply to composite prints. You can see more examples by clicking HERE

NEW SHIP COMMISSIONS

I am often asked to produce a print of a ship which is not in my catalog, and the enquirer is just as often shocked to find that my quote is much higher than the price of a print I have already produced. The reason is that I quote based on the possible future sales of the new print, so if you want an obscure WWI merchant ship which nobody else is ever likely to buy I tend towards the higher end in price. Don't let it deter you from asking - I will give you my best quote for any ship you care to name.

HOW TO ORDER

To order your print, please send me an e - mail listing your requirements. I will try to respond to your inquiries on the next business day and send you an invoice . I accept personal checks, money orders and Paypal, and I will send you a Paypal invoice if requested.

MY GUARANTEE

I will replace your print or refund your purchase price if the print is flawed or not as described, and I will also replace prints lost or damaged in the mail.

PRODUCTION AND SHIPPING

I can usually mail basic prints within 2 - 3 business days. Delivery time is typically 3 - 5 days by USPS First Class mail ($4.00), 2 - 3 days by by USPS Priority Mail ($5.50) or 1- 2 days by Express Mail ($20.00). Rates for overseas can be provided on request. I can combine shipping in the US on up to 5 prints per package at $5.50. Production time for customized prints depends on how much customizing is involved and how many others are ahead of you in the queue, but I will give you an estimated completion date when I receive your payment.

DROPSHIP SERVICE

I currently provide a dropship service to three major on-line retailers of military associated products. If you are a retailer or represent a ship's association or store interested in listing my prints, please e- mail me for details. I produce, pack and ship the prints in return for a percentage of your retail price.
