Daniel Stern portrays Frank, a hapless hotel owner that has big dreams of breaking into the country music scene. Things go bad when he becomes involved in a series of accidental murders. Another straight to video release courtesy of Artisan Home Entertainment, “Dead Simple” features a good widescreen (1.85:1) transfer with a choice of either English Dolby Digital 5.1 or Surround 2.0 Soundtracks with English Closed Captions and Spanish Subtitles encoded as an option.  There is also a feature length audio commentary track with Director Jason Bloom, Composer Andrew Gross, Production Designer Alexander Hammond, and Editor Luis Calina.

Standard extras include multiple trailers for films distributed by Artisan Home Entertainment, behind-the-scenes interviews, and a photo gallery. Director Jason Bloom contributes a short note within the insert inside the DVD keep case as well.
