Whitewater Springers Is located in the Willamette Valley about 20 miles west of Salem, Oregon. This Facility is set on 125 Acres of rolling grass hills and oak groves. The facility is groomed for the sole purpose of the training and maintenance of top field trial and gun dogs. Although the primary function of Whitewater Kennels is the training of Field Bred English Springer Spaniels, we train other flushing dogs, such as Retrievers. The owners of Whitewater Kennels are Rob and Shelley Barlow. Their combined experience exceeds well ver 25 years. With many field champions, High Point dogs and National Placements to their credits. Their early experiences were with Labs, training and trialing with some of the top pros in the country. When Switching to spaniels in 1991, they brought with them the experience needed to create a training program theat not only produces top notch gun dogs, but also nationally competitive field trial dogs. Not only do they use a positive training method, they also use a "show me" technique that utilizes the natural ability of the dog: thus building a solid foundation.
