How to Install and Use SoundSets
 Help with SoundSets
How to Install: You must be using OS 8.5 or higher to use these sound sets. Drag the SoundSet file on to your System folder in your hard drive. Your system should then display a dialouge saying "This item needs to be stored in the Sound Sets folder in order to be available to the computer. Put the SoundSet into the SoundSets folder?" Click the "OK" button and it will relocate the file to the SoundSets folder in the Appearance folder in your System folder.
How to Use: Go to your Control Panels in the Apple menu and select the Appearance control panel. In the Appearance control panel, select the Sound tab and then select the SoundSet from the "Sound track" pull-down menu. Now most of the things you do in the Finder and in some other programs will have sounds associated with them (e.g. opening windows, pull-down menus, launching applications, etc.).
Creating SoundSets: I've been doing SoundSets ever sinc OS 8.5 came out and have gathered some technical notes on my experiences them.
