The Benat Sharkien Dancers perform at different functions which include Parties, Weddings and Restaurants. Once a year there is a Hafla and dinner which is presented in the spring.
The shows are in the Oriental style (Raks Sharkie) and Folkloric with two drummers Tambourine and Guitar.
During the year they perform at FAFO in Ocala and on the square.
The costumes are gorgeous and design by Egyptian dressmakers.

The new Holiday Inn opened on July 27, 2007 and the Benat Sharkien Dancers performed Oriental and Folkloric dances. In the grand ballroom wonderful Indian food was served. In the photo are Zahid, Mari, Samara, Maia and Zuhela. The other members Olga and Sahara were performing.
